CHARITY WALK Sun 4 JULY 2010
In support of the Lung Cancer Unit at Velindre Hospital

The day starts at 11.00am on Sunday 4th July with the walkers setting off from the Recreation Centre in Bridgend. The 3k walk will journey via Newbridge Fields through Merthyr Mawr to the picturesque Stepping Stones at Ogmore Farm. The walkers will (carefully!) step the stones (or pay to be carried by some hunky rugby players!) across the river Ogmore and pass the Norman Castle to the Ogmore Farm field.

The many supporters will, no doubt, be waiting to greet the participants and welcome them to the beer tent or catering area where they will find excellent refreshments and sustenance. There will be a marquee, bales of hay to sit on, live music and children's entertainment. Plenty of parking space available.
